St Luke's Anglicare works within rural and regional communities to assist people to make positive changes, to be connected and to contribute to their communities. Their practices promote respect, hope, fairness and they challenge any actions that devalue, disadvantage and discriminate. St Luke's is a well established and respected not for profit organisation in rural Victoria, with a 73 year history of providing welfare services to children, young people and families. St Luke’s mission is to assist people to develop choices in their lives and to contribute to their communities. St Luke’s is committed to practices that promote justice and hope and challenges actions that devalue, disadvantage and discriminate. St Luke's operates within the Loddon Mallee region of Victoria and southern New South Wales with its main office base in Bendigo and regional offices in Kyneton, Maryborough, Castlemaine, Echuca, Swan Hill, Albury and Deniliquin. St Luke's commitment is to the most disadvantaged and marginalised people in the community. Our clients experience a range of issues including lack of appropriate housing, exclusion from educational and employment opportunities, lack of material and financial resources, mental health issues and substance misuse. Many have experienced physical and emotional abuse. In each instance, clients are provided with skilled and appropriate services to assist sustainable change St Luke’s has an annual budget of $20m+ and employs in excess of 300 people.
